Toy Poodle is a breed of water dog that originated in Germany or France. They are the smallest of the Poodle varieties, standing no more than 10 inches tall at the shoulder. A healthy adult Toy Poodle typically weighs between 6.5 and 7.5 kilograms (14 and 17 lb). The breed is known for its distinctive thick, curly coat that comes in many colors and patterns, with only solid colors recognized by breed registries.
